Open the website and go to Analytics settings. Only a manager or the owner can change them. Installed scripts pick up changes within a few minutes; the snippet stays the same.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking on | On | Off stops every installed script within 6 minutes. |

Hosts the script may send from, one per line. *.example.com covers subdomains. |
| Time zone | Europe/Warsaw |
Used for days and hours in reports. |
| Currency | PLN |
The shop’s main currency. |
| Consent | Required (wait for the banner) | See Consent. |

Page type rules
Section titled “Page type rules”Rules that say what kind of page a URL is (product, cart, checkout…). Each rule has a Page type, a Match (Exact path, Starts with or Regular expression) and a Pattern, such as /koszyk. See Page types.
Commerce events
Section titled “Commerce events”Only used in auto mode. See Auto mode.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| dataLayer name | dataLayer |
The array your GA4 or Google Tag Manager setup pushes to. |
| Your rules | None | Clicks or requests that mean a commerce step happened. Up to 50. |
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Pages to skip | None | Paths where nothing is recorded, up to 50. See below. |
| Kept URL parameters | utm_* |
All other query parameters are removed. Wildcards like utm_* work. Ad-click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid, fbclid) are always removed; the session keeps only which one it arrived with. |
| Keep events (days, up to 400) | 400 | How long events are kept. |
Replays are kept for 2 to 30 days; those with orders, carts, checkouts or open issues the longest.
Pages to skip
Section titled “Pages to skip”Use this for staff pages, such as a shop admin panel, so your team is not counted. On a matching page the script sends nothing.
Each line is a path starting with / that must match the whole path, without the query string. * matches any characters, including /. Matching is case-sensitive.
| Pattern | Skips | Does not skip |
|---|---|---|
/admin* |
/admin, /admin/orders, /administrator |
/shop/admin |
/admin/* |
/admin/orders |
/admin |
/konto/*/faktury |
/konto/12/faktury |
/konto/12/faktury/2026 |
Data already recorded on those pages is kept.
Delete a visitor’s data
Section titled “Delete a visitor’s data”At the bottom of Analytics settings, a manager can delete everything recorded for one visitor ID (the _qm_vid cookie’s value). It is done within 24 hours.
