Connect an AI assistant (MCP)
Quomerce has an MCP server. Connect it, and an AI assistant can read your shops’ data: sessions, funnel, orders, issues, uptime and replays. You can then ask in plain words, such as “why did orders drop on Tuesday?”
- Server address:
https://api.quomerce.com/mcp - Sign-in: your normal Quomerce login (OAuth). No key to copy.
- Access: read only. The assistant sees the same shops and numbers you see in the app, with your role. It changes nothing.
Works on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free plans can add one custom connector.
-
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click Add, then Add custom connector.
-
Name it
Quomerceand paste the server address:https://api.quomerce.com/mcp. -
Click Continue, then Add, and choose Connect. A Quomerce page opens. Sign in with your email and password, and allow access.
-
In a chat, turn the Quomerce connector on and ask a question.
-
Add the server:
Terminal window claude mcp add --transport http quomerce https://api.quomerce.com/mcp -
Start Claude Code and run
/mcp. Choose quomerce, then Authenticate. Sign in to Quomerce in the browser. -
Check that
/mcpshows Connected, then ask a question.
To share the setup with your team, add --scope project. This writes .mcp.json in the repository. Each person still signs in on their own.
For a script that cannot open a browser, use a token.
Any app that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP can connect (Cursor, VS Code, Codex and others). Add a server of type http (sometimes called “streamable HTTP”) with this address:
https://api.quomerce.com/mcpIf the app supports OAuth, it opens the Quomerce sign-in by itself. If it does not, use a token.
A client written for the older SSE type will not work. Quomerce speaks streamable HTTP only.
Tokens
Section titled “Tokens”Use a token only for an app that cannot sign in itself, such as a script.
- In app.quomerce.com, open Account settings → AI assistant access (MCP).
- Give the token a name and a lifetime (7, 30 or 90 days), then create it.
- Copy it at once. It is shown only one time.
- Send it in a header:
Authorization: Bearer qm_mcp_…
With Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http quomerce https://api.quomerce.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer qm_mcp_…"A token reads what you can read. Treat it like a password. You can revoke it on the same page.
What the assistant can do
Section titled “What the assistant can do”| Area | Examples |
|---|---|
| Your shops | List your accounts and websites, uptime, setup status |
| Overview | Sessions, orders, revenue, conversion, compared with the period before |
| Funnel and paths | Where visitors drop off, what they do after a page, who is stuck at payment |
| Traffic | Sources and channels, entry pages |
| Problems | Issues and what they cost, forms and fields that cause trouble |
| Visitors | Find sessions and read what a visitor did, as text |
| Pages | Page report and click heatmaps |
| Context | Holidays, paydays and shopping days that explain a busy or quiet day |
| Your own questions | SQL over your shop’s data |
Claude can also show a session replay and a heatmap inside the chat.
Visits without cookie consent and bots are left out of every figure, as in the app.
Disconnect
Section titled “Disconnect”- Claude: Customize → Connectors, then Remove.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp remove quomerce. - From Quomerce: in Account settings → Connected apps, click Disconnect. The app loses access at once. Revoke tokens in AI assistant access (MCP).
Problems
Section titled “Problems”| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The sign-in page says your login is wrong | Use the email and password of your Quomerce login, the one you use at app.quomerce.com. |
| The assistant says it sees no shops | Your login has no access to an account yet. Ask the owner to invite you. |
| It cannot connect | Check the address ends in /mcp and has no extra spaces. |
| A token stopped working | It expired or was revoked. Make a new one. |
